MICHIGAN RECRUITING 6-3, 246-pounder is the No. 9 in- side linebacker and No. 228 overall prospect nationally. He took a visit to Michigan in the spring, but his parents never got to see all of Ann Arbor's offerings. He plans to take an official visit to U-M, along with one to Ohio State, as well. He is expected to stick with the Tide regardless. Greensboro (N.C.) Northern Guil- ford cornerback Mook Reynolds didn't hold a Michigan offer when he committed to the Hokies Feb. 8. The Wolverines' spring offer intrigued the 6-0, 170-pounder, who is ranked as the No. 29 cornerback and No. 247 overall player nationally. He plans to take an official visit for the Oct. 11 Penn State game, and the Maize and Blue may have a strong chance to lure him away from Virginia Tech. North Carolina commit Javarius Davis, a cornerback from Jackson- ville (Fla.) Ed White, is the No. 30 player in the country at his position and, while he's unranked overall na- tionally, he is the No. 60 prospect in the Sunshine State. He picked the Tar Heels June 12, but plans to officially visit Ann Arbor for the Oct. 11 Penn State game. The 5-10, 173-pounder says there's a 60 percent chance he sticks with Carolina. Davis will be accompanied by an- other current River City UNC pledge when he sees Ann Arbor. Jacksonville (Fla.) First Coast offensive lineman William Sweet is a 6-7, 280-pounder who picked up a U-M offer in the days before choosing the Heels.
