It's great for Jack to be a part of the team now, too. Maybe I'll be next in line; we'll see." Another local prospect, safety Tyrone Miller from Saline (Mich.) High, is on the radar as well. The 6-0, 178-pounder camped at Michigan this summer and impressed by run- ning a 40-yard dash in the 4.5-second range. He holds a number of MAC offers as well, but the Ann Arbor na- tive (he played his first two years at Pioneer High School, just across the street from Michigan Stadium) would likely jump on an opportunity to play for the Wolverines. "I was talking to Coach [Roy] Man- ning and Coach [Brady] Hoke a lot at the camp," he said. "I did what I had to do to impress them and show them that I was the one. It felt like home, because I live just a few min- utes away and I'm always around Michigan." There's no denying that Michigan would be extending its reach lower on the recruiting board to offer ei- ther of the unranked players, but if they're the best realistic options when the time comes, that's what U-M may have to do to fill the class with capable players.
