told The Orlando Sentinel on May 11 that
he had met with Golson and had been
"negotiating" with him.
"He's a great young man, I really
enjoyed getting to know him," said
Fisher, who saw Golson complete 31
of 52 passes for 313 yards with three
touchdowns in Notre Dame's 31-27 loss
at FSU last Oct. 18 — with the game-
winning fourth touchdown wiped out
by a controversial offensive interfer-
