FAN FORUM Message To Our Readers We are excited to announce several additions to our staff and group of con- tributors to Blue & Gold Illustrated and our website BlueandGold.com. BRYAN DRISKELL Bryan comes to us from the website Irish Sports Daily, where he has built an outstanding reputation for his player evaluations and game analysis. Bryan brings a unique — and un- matched in the Irish market — combina- tion of experience and knowledge to his role with us. He grew up a Notre Dame fan as a youngster in Maryland and was a subscriber to Blue & Gold Illustrated, he played college football, he served as a college coach and recruiting coordina- tor, and he has worked for Irish Sports Daily, covering ND football full-time for three years. Bryan was a quarterback at Salis- bury University, a Division III school in Maryland, and then coached for seven years at the college level with stints at: Wittenberg University, a Division III school in Ohio (quarterbacks coach); Muhlenberg College, a Division III pro- gram in Pennsylvania (running backs coach); Defiance College, a Division III program in Ohio (passing game coordi- nator, recruiting coordinator and wide receivers coach); Duquesne University, a I-AA program in Pittsburgh (wide re- ceivers coach); and Christopher New- port University, a Division III program in Virginia (passing game coordinator, recruiting coordinator, wide receivers coach and assistant head coach). During his coaching career, he coached on a national title team at Duquesne, contributed to four confer- ence championship teams, and tutored 10 all-conference players and two All- Americans. In recruiting terms, Bryan is a five-star talent and a great addition to our team. BRIAN FREMEAU Brian has been contributing a column, Irish Analytics, to Blue & Gold Illustrated since the first of the year, and we apolo- gize for the late introduction. We ran a Five Questions with Brian in our Under The Dome section last fall to learn more about the Notre Dame graduate's (1999) work with ESPN. He has been contributing college football statistical analysis to ESPN's Football Insiders section since 2009. We approached Brian about focusing his insightful and interesting analysis on just one team, his alma mater. He accepted, and his articles have been a terrific addition to this publication and our website. Brian, who works in facilities manage- ment at Notre Dame, explained that he got his start in statistical analysis to help him "win arguments with my family." ANDREW IVINS AND JORDAN WELLS Andrew, our football recruiting ana- lyst, came to us from the Rocky Mount (N.C.) Telegram. A Florida native, An- drew graduated from Florida Atlantic University. We've been fortunate to have two of the best recruiting analysts in the busi-
