HOMECOMINGS WEEKEND In March, we distributed a survey asking our student- athlete alumni what they would like for us to plan for them during Homecom- ings weekend. We received great feedback. Based on this input, we are changing the large All-Sports Reunion weekend to an every other year format, beginning in 2016. In alternating years, and beginning this fall, we are inviting student-athlete alumni to Homecomings weekend to attend a foot - ball game and spend time with teammates. We are not planning a full weekend of activities, making their time less structured so they can spend time on Grounds at other University functions and create their own infor- mal gatherings. This year Homecomings weekend is October 16-18 when Virginia hosts Syra- cuse in football. Registra- tions, in which student-ath- lete alumni were offered two complimentary tickets to the game, have been active since this summer and the re- sponse has been wonderful. We are looking forward to having many student-athlete alumni on Grounds for the weekend.
