we do — it's a little switch-up — but we should be fine. Coach Brown tells us we're going to apply pressure, dif- ferent from Coach Durkin in that we played a lot of man, but there was not as much pressure like Coach Brown has. "That's a big up for me because I like playing aggressive and so do all the guys back here. All of our second- ary is comfortable with all the burden on their backs, we're excited for the season." They're also fully comfortable with their new leader, senior defensive end Chris Wormley said. He referred to Brown as "kind of like Coach Durkin's dad" — someone with the same fiery personality and the same high expecta- tions. "First, his aggression and passion for football is unbelievable," Wormley said. "That's what we love to have as a defense, someone as passionate as we are about defense. The blitzes he has for us, the aggression scheme-wise is something we all love. "There are new terms, new tech- niques so there's always something different. But we've had three de- fenses the last few years so we're used to it. I'm excited to learn from Coach Brown." His intensity has set him apart in the early going. He's the loudest of the as- sistants and is just as willing to praise Redshirt sophomore Jabrill Peppers could see time at several different positions in Brown's new system, which will keep offenses guessing about what he's going to do on any given play.
