  COMMITMENT PROFILE The name "McCaffrey" conjures up images of football greatness among the average fan. Ed was a 13-year NFL receiver, including an All-Pro season with the Denver Broncos in 1998. Son Christian was the Heisman Trophy runner-up as a sophomore at Stanford last fall. The third of four McCaffrey boys (eldest son Max recently gradu- ated from Duke, where he was a wide receiver) will be a Wolverine. Highlands Ranch (Colo.) Valor Christian junior quarterback Dylan McCaffrey committed to Michigan Feb. 15, giving Jim Harbaugh his top quarterback target in the class. It's easy to say why McCaffrey was No. 1 on the board.
