INSIDE MICHIGAN ATHLETICS
After going 259-of-446 passing (58.1 percent) for 3,117 yards with 28 touch-
downs as a true freshman at Houston, John O'Korn found himself on the bench
after a change in offensive scheme during his sophomore year. That led him to
transfer to Michigan, where he'll look to takeover at quarterback this fall.
Nickname: "It's just J.O.K."
Best meal he can cook by himself: "I'm a breakfast guy. I'll say omelets and
stuff."
Sports he plays besides football: "I used to play baseball and basketball. I
wrestled for a little while growing up, too. That's about it."
Hobbies: "I like to just hang out with my friends. A lot of guys will go play
golf and do stuff like that. I think I'm the only quarterback in the room that's
not really into golf. When I'm not playing football and training, I like to get off
my feet and relax, watch Netflix."
Favorite TV show: "I like watching a lot of stuff on Netflix. I really like 'Agents
of Shield.'"
Despite sitting out last year after transferring to Michigan, O'Korn has thrown for 4,068
yards and 34 touchdowns against 18 interceptions in his college career.
