MICHIGAN BASKETBALL BASKETBALL NOTEBOOK • Michigan lost 78-66 at Ohio State Feb. 16, but junior forward Zak Irvin passed the 1,000-point mark in that game. Irvin's 15 points allowed him to become the 50th player in Michigan basketball history to reach that milestone. Senior guard Caris LeVert did so earlier in the season, surpassing 1,000 points in the win over Northern Kentucky Dec. 15. • The Wolverines are now 77- 101 in their all-time basketball series versus the Buckeyes. • Michigan bolstered its all-time record against Northwestern to 110-57 in a 72-63 victory over the Wildcats at Crisler Center Feb. 24. • Sophomore wing Aubrey Dawkins set a career record by pulling down seven rebounds against the Wildcats. He also matched a season high with three three-pointers. • Michigan dropped a 68-57 decision to Wisconsin Feb. 28 at the Kohl Center in Madison. The Wolverines are now 2-12 at the venue, victorious just once since a 51-39 win there the year after it opened. U-M's only triumph at the Kohl Center under John Beilein occurred in 2014, when the Wolverines beat the Badgers 77-70. • Michigan's 71-61 loss to Iowa March 5 dropped the Wolverines to 91-62 in the all-time series versus the Hawkeyes. • Redshirt sophomore forward Mark Donnal grabbed a career-high 10 re- bounds in the loss to Iowa. • Michigan's 72-70 win over Northwestern in the Big Ten Tournament March 10 made the Wolverines 2-1 versus the Wildcats in conference tourney play. • Redshirt sophomore wing Duncan Robinson led the Wolverines with 21 points against the Wildcats, tying his Michigan high in scoring. Sophomore guard Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman established a new career high with Junior forward Zak Irvin became the 50th mem- ber of U-M's 1,000-point club with a 15-point effort at Ohio State Feb. 16.
