2016 BASKETBALL RECRUITING ISSUE 6-5 now, I'd say." Bossi caught Poole during his first AAU tournament of the year, a great first event for the junior. He's since moved to Mac Irvin Fire AAU out of Chicago (from Wisconsin Playground Elite) and has struggled to get accli- mated, still working on chemistry with his new teammates and on find- ing his shot. He'd shot 27.1 percent overall and 22.2 percent from three- point range through seven Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) games as of May 5 and averaged 9.1 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists. He did find his stroke against Boo Williams AAU at the Indianapolis Nike EYBL in April, going 3 of 8 from long range and scoring 16 points in a 75-69 loss. "I'm getting there," he said. "I've been working on getting my shot off quicker, and I'm getting more com- fortable with my shot. I'm working on being more explosive with the ball and on defense really sitting down in my stance and moving my feet." Bossi sees a player who's a great fit in the Michigan system. A lot of things you can have control over, but that's not one … still, he's steadily improved." Poole averaged 18.2 points and shot 75.0 percent (84 of 112) from the free throw line his junior year at King. He was named to the Division I all-state squad by the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association. The Offered JAMAL CAIN, SF 6-7 • 175 Pontiac (Mich.)
