The Irish lost two games to Arizona in the NCAA regional to end their season. Notre Dame's tennis teams fell in the second round of the NCAA tournament. The Irish women continued to dominate For the second year in a row, both of Big East tennis with their fifth consecutive conference title. Senior Kristy Frilling led the way for Notre Dame by winning all six of her matches in the conference tourna- ment. She and doubles partner Shannon Matthews advanced to the NCAA round of 16 before falling to a pair from UCLA. They finished the year as the eighth-ranked duo in the country.
