Emma Reaney (Swimming) — The freshman made her presence known early by winning a record three Big East Swimmer of the Week awards in the first half of the season. Reaney's versatility won her three All-America cita- tions in spring, and this sum- mer she swam into the semifi- nals of the U.S. Olympic Trials in the 200 individual medley. 3. Melissa Henderson (Soc- cer) — The No. 2 overall draft pick in the Women's Profes- sional Soccer League this Janu- ary scored 18 goals in her se- nior season to bring her career total to 70. She scored more game-winners than anyone in program history. Henderson was a third-team All-American this year, which was a step back from the year before. 4. Devereaux Peters (Basketball) — The Big East's 1. Tynan (Hockey) — The national championship distance medley relay team set the pace for Irish runners in fall, winter and spring. Rae began his junior year as an all-conference cross country runner.
