80 ■ THE WOLFPACKER BY JACEY ZEMBAL N C State has one senior set for an offi- cial visit and has shown up on the lists of three other prospects heading into the stretch run of recruiting. Head coach Kevin Keatts and his staff have two scholarships available for the class of 2019 and are focusing on a small group of talented targets. Concord (N.C.) Cox Mill five-star wing Wendell Moore Jr. is further along in his recruitment than some of his peers. The senior plans to take official visits to NC State (Aug. 31-Sept. 2), South Carolina (Sept. 7-9), Duke (Sept. 21-23), Wake For- est (Sept. 28-30) and North Carolina (Oct. 12-14). Four-star small forward Patrick Williams of West Charlotte (N.C.) High hasn't set up any official visits yet, but did reduce his suitors to 10 schools, with NC State, Arizona, Clemson, Louisville, Maryland, Ohio State, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest vying for his five official visits. Keatts and company offered Orlando (Fla.) Christian Prep senior forward C.J. Walker July 13 at the Nike Peach Jam, and he has narrowed his list to NC State, Ala- bama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Memphis, Miami, Mississippi, Or- egon and Texas. Rivals.com ranks the 6-7, 190-pound Walker as the No. 44 overall prospect in the country.
