The Wolverines led by a mere point, clinging to a 14-13 lead over upset-minded Purdue. For some, that might have consti- tuted an intestinal crisis. For those who watched Jim Harbaugh's team closely all season, not so much. Michigan did what it does, crushing the Boilermakers' hopes in the second half and securing a 43-22 victory — and with it, a second straight Big Ten title. The Wolverines nailed down a 13-0 re- cord, the most victories ever by a Mich- MICH — AGAIN Wolverines Employ Familiar Formula To Repeat As Big Ten Champs Sophomore running back Donovan Edwards (7) exploded in the second half to catapult Michigan to a 43-22 victory against Purdue.
