going into somebody else's house, be-
ing able to do what we did to them …
that feels great. But how we beat them
for the first time in 10 years, how it felt
when fans stormed the field … I used to
see that in high school as a young kid
on TV and say, 'That looks crazy.' Next
thing you know, I'm in the middle of it."
And a big reason for it. Like those who
came back to haunt Hayes, Moore is the
epitome of "the one that got away" from
Ohio … and he's got two more years to
add to his already secure legacy.
OVERLOOKED AND
UNDERRATED
What that is as of now — a guy with
blue-collar traits but outstanding skills,
someone who makes the most of his tal-
ent, and a two-time Big Ten champion.
Not the team's top athlete (though he's
probably underrated in that respect,
just like he was as a consensus three-
star out of Clayton [Ohio] Northmont),
he's simply one of those guys Harbaugh
calls a true "football player."
That's about the highest praise Har-
