basketball recruiting U-M Coaches Expand Class Of 2014 Search M By Chris Balas ichigan still has one commitment from the 2014 class in Fort Myers (Fla.) Bishop Verot big man Ricky Doyle (6-8, 230, unranked by Rivals.com) and continues to search for complements. A wider net has been cast in the last month to include more of the nation's top prospects. The new targets to watch start with Christchurch (Va.) School small forward Devin Robinson (6‑8, 165, No. 24 player nationally ac- cording to Rivals.com). Michigan scouted him closely this summer, and he could well visit, according to sources close to Robinson. Indiana, Georgetown, Virginia Tech, VCU and North Carolina are on him, and he hears a lot from Duke. "Duke calls all the time," he said. "I just talked to Coach [Nate] James the other day for like an hour. He was telling me that they liked the way that I have developed my skills and that they'll be watching me." The No. 73 player in the class of 2014, 6-8 forward Donte Grantham, is also a possibility after Michigan coaches watched him this summer. He broke out with a terrific performance at the July Reebok camp. A 2013 graduate who was the player of the year in West Virginia, The Wolverines have a strong interest in 6-8 forward Donte Grantham, the No. 73 player in the senior class according to Rivals.com. He will attend Chatham (Va.) Hargrave Military Academy as a post-graduate this year to improve his offer list. photo courtesy rivals.com
