Michigan's Top 25 List
Reveals Increasing Talent
By John Borton
he Wolverine's top 25 list has
become an annual barometer
of how the gladiator pool
shapes up coming into fall
camp. Brady Hoke and his staff seek
big results this year, and those don't
spring from tiny talent.
Each year the magazine staff votes
on how the shelves are stocked. In
this case, the criteria involve whom
the Wolverines can least afford to
lose in their effort to earn a Big Ten
championship. Expectations of overall
effectiveness and impact also come
into play.
For the third time in six years, a
quarterback heads the list, which
makes sense given the crucial nature of
the position. On the pages that follow
you'll find a snapshot of that spot for
2013, along with the top defensive
player listed, and a couple more who
cracked the list and could play key
roles.
