Ready To Make An Impact This Fall Cam Gordon — Once considered a can't-miss standout at free safety, Gordon is still waiting to contrib‑ ute significantly. He did start in the secondary in 2010, but was out of position and moved to linebacker midway through the season. He might have started at the Sam line‑ backer spot in 2011 if not for a back injury that knocked him out of the first game and opened the door for Jake Ryan.
