East Lake wide receiver George Campbell is rated a 6.0 four-star — the top level among four-star prospects in Rivals rankings. Like Harris, the size-andspeed combination is simply too im‑ pressive to overlook. High schoolers with Campbell's 6-4, 190-pound size and 4.37-second 40-yard dash (lasertimed at Nike's The Opening in July) are so rare that even his lack of polish as a wideout is excusable at this early stage in his development. ESPN ranks Campbell as the No. 3 junior in the nation, while 247Sports tabs him at No. 17 in his class. Ohio defensive backs Shaun Craw‑ ford (Lakewood St. Edward) and Tyree Kinnel (Huber Heights Wayne High School) also earned four-star rankings. Both players committed to Michigan in August, and both should ultimately be important pieces to a strong U-M secondary. Crawford is ranked as the No. 49 player in the junior class by ESPN and No. 156 by 247Sports. Given that Michigan's classes in the past couple years have started with a high-profile pledge that has lured in other talented recruits, it's somewhat ironic that the first two pledges chron‑ ologically are also the only two who have not yet been rated.
