RIT, Oct. 12: A Division II (1983) and Division III (1985) NCAA champion, RIT made the jump to Division I in 2006, and went to its only NCAA Tournament in 2010. U-M went 2-1-1 against Ferris last year and is 69-29-2 all time in the series. 10. Niagara, Nov. 22: The Wolverines have won seven of eight against Niagara, including each of the last six meetings between the two programs. The Purple Eagles have played in three different conferences since the 1997 season — the ECAC, CHA and AHA — and won their first Atlantic Hockey Association title in 2013. ❑ Hockey Notebook Staff Change Joe Maher has been added to the Michigan staff, serving as the strength and conditioning coach. Previously at Yale from 2008‑13, Maher has an extensive hockey background. He will also work with the Wolverines' rowing team. "He's been dynamite," Berenson said. "He's going to be great. This will be the most time [allocation] that we've been ever given from a strength and conditioning coach." Joe Maher
