FROM OUR READERS it, and most long-term season ticket holders feel the same way. Since many of us have no source to sell or give the tickets to, we used Stub Hub (which is a partner of U- M's athletic department) to sell the tickets. This resulted in thousands of Ohio State fans becoming the purchasers. The notion that these sales were the result of disgruntled fans is not true for most of us. We simply had no other way to use the tickets. I feel as guilty as anyone that my tickets probably went to Ohio State fans. We are not disloyal or "fair weather" fans. We simply had and will continue to have other necessary obligations on Thanks- giving weekend. To alleviate this from happening for every home Ohio State game from now on, and also for other impor- tant games, the athletic department needs to set up an exchange web- site or other method where Michigan season ticket holders can be assured of selling to Michigan fans only. Stub Hub works great and I have used it successfully on occasion, but it is a national website and there is no way to know who the buyers are. A ticket site for U-M people only is needed and would help solve the problem. Those of us who nust sell should not be held in such low es- teem. We are dedicated fans who support the team and want Michigan fans in the stadium, but our options are few when our obligations make it necessary to sell our tickets. Ralph A. Orlandi Brighton, Mich. One reader suggests a web site that would allow U-M fans who can't attend the Ohio State game to sell their tickets to other Michigan fans, because no one wants to see fans dressed like the one in this photo at The Big House.
