UNDER THE DOME MORE GRACE PERIOD N o t re D a m e h e a d coach Brian Kelly said there is no timetable on senior Mike linebacker Jarrett Grace's return this season after undergoing leg surgeries last October and March. However, rather than planning to possibly ap- ply for a sixth year of eli- gibility with Grace down the road, Kelly wants him engaged in recovery now. "We're going to con- tinue to press the thought of him playing this year," he said. "There has to be something for him to keep pushing." The Sept. 20 bye week buys a little more time for recovery, as it does for fifth-year senior safety and captain Aus- tin Collinsworth, who was listed out two to four weeks after a grade two MCL strain two days before the Rice opener. He was ruled out from playing against Purdue Sept. 13. Sophomore receiver Torii Hunter Jr. saw his first live action in practice since incurring a grade three groin tear in early August, but Kelly ruled him out of action for Pur- due two days before the game. Redshirted last season, Hunter can play any of the three receiving positions. "He's an explosive player," head coach Brian Kelly said. "He's somebody whose yards after the catch will be something that we'll talk about. He's a strong player. He can handle somebody on top of him."
