PROSISE ✦ GIMME FIVE Senior quarterback Everett Golson set a Notre Dame record with 25 consecutive pass comple‑ tions during the 31‑15 victory against Syracuse Sept. 27. However, his completion percentage (82.1) was "only" the eighth best in a game by a Notre Dame quarterback. Among the top five in school history, four of them saw the Irish quarterback attempt 14 or fewer passes. A minimum of 10 passes need to be thrown to qualify. The only other Notre Dame QB to complete at least 80 percent of his passes in a game with a minimum of 30 at‑ tempts was Brady Quinn during a 49‑28 victory at Purdue in 2005.
