The Tar Heels are the lone school to play in Notre Dame Stadium at least 10 times without having ever recorded a win. The only other school that comes close to that futility is Indiana, which is 0‑9 in Notre Dame Stadium. The Irish are 19‑2 overall versus the Tar Heels, but lost the most recent meeting (29‑24) at Chapel Hill in 2009.
