make things happen with his running
ability when pass protection breaks
down.
"He has decent accuracy on the me‑
dium throws. Some of his numbers
the last game were misleading in that
he had thrown a 41‑yard touchdown
pass. It was a five‑yard pass and the
receiver did the rest."
Williams' top target is sophomore
wide receiver Ryan Switzer, one of the
nation's most dynamic playmakers.
In 2013, he tied an NCAA record with
five punts returned for touchdowns
while adding three through the air.
This season, he has yet to score on a
punt return, but through four games
he led North Carolina in receptions
(19), and had 202 receiving yards and
one touchdown grab.
"He's more of [someone] you don't
want to give space. He's not big by
any means," Carter said. "He's 5‑9,
175 pounds, so he's a short guy out
there who doesn't have a lot of size
