Catholic de‑ fensive tackle Rashan Gary won't all end up in Ann Arbor, but if even one or two do, the Wolverines' recruiting class can finish with a cherry on top. Gary, the No. 2 overall player in the nation, would add 233 Rivals Team Rankings points to U‑M's current to‑ tal of 2,019. Kelly (No. 17) would add 213 points, Nauta (No. 18) is worth 212 and Walker (No. 21) would bring 209. Hardman is the least likely of that group to end up in the winged helmet, but the No. 16 prospect in the nation would add 214 points. Four‑star prospects would boost the U‑M class as well, with Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha offensive lineman Ter‑ rance Davis (No. 46), Elk Grove (Calif.) Franklin safety Lamar Jackson (No. 86), and Boulder (Colo.) Fairview defensive end Carlo Kemp (No. 203) among the most likely to end up signing with the Maize and Blue. They would add 180, 155 and 117 points, respectively. Meanwhile, since only the 20 high‑ est‑ranked prospects in each school's recruiting class count toward the team total, any additional commitments would push the lowest‑ranked Wol‑ verine pledges out of the calculation for the Rivals.com team rankings.
