"So I've seen guys coach quarter- backs really hard and be very dif- ficult on them. No matter how hard or difficult I am with him, it does not bother him. It really doesn't. "We are constantly on a quest for perfection, a quest for excellence. Ev- ery single play, you're coaching these guys. Every play, that's how we do it. "It's not always perfect in prac- tice. It's not always perfect in games. We're constantly correcting, and teaching, and telling them, and ask- ing them, and challenging them." For his part, Rudock doesn't talk about the hard coaching. He does play up the instruction angle, and he's appreciative of it. Part of the rea- son he came to Michigan involved working with QB experts. He figures he's found his guru in that respect and likes the fact that teaching always comes along with any challenges to mistakes. "It's being able to talk with me on the field, and being a solid coach, in terms of not exploding over certain things," Rudock said of Harbaugh.
