Five Questions For The Season's Second Half Who should be the starting goalie? Junior Zach Nagelvoort has had some outstanding games in his career, allowing one goal or fewer in nine of 46 career starts. However, he has not been able to put consistently strong stretches together over the past two seasons and is suffering through his poorest year yet: a career-worst 3.17 goals-against average and a career-low .885 save percentage. Senior Steve Racine has had too many clunkers also — he has allowed four or more goals in 17 of his 60 starts — but he's also proven he can get on a hot streak, recording a .926 save percentage and 2.00 goals-against average in nine career playoff games. After a slow start, senior Steve Racine posted a 1.91 goals-against average and .935 save percentage over a six-game stretch to emerge as the team's No. 1 goaltender. PHOTO BY LON HORWEDEL
