BEST AND WORST VS. OSU
Dear The Wolverine:
"It was the best of times, it was
the worst of times."
The best — I'll take a 9-3 record
as a significant improvement over
2014's 5-7. This season Michigan
won the games it should have won.
The worst — there is a talent gap
which is quite evident when Michi-
gan plays a good team; too many
penalties, no running game, porous
defensive line, etc.
The future — being embarrassed
in a bowl game will hurt recruiting
(Kansas State anyone?). Let's hope
the injuries heal, especially to Jake
Rudock, and Michigan is selected to
play not too powerful a team in the
bowl matchups. If Michigan gets a
top-10 recruiting class, I think the
corner to competitiveness will have
been turned. If not — I don't even
want to think about it!

Yes, it's true, the Ohio school has
a good football team. It is a large,
financially sound university and
while it is not a bad school aca-
demically, it pales by comparison to
