She is a three-time U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches As- sociation All-American and was the Big Ten Indoor Track Athlete of the Year in 2014. Men's Track and Field Fifth-Year Senior Mason Ferlic: Ferlic was a team captain in 2015 and is also a three-time USTFCCCA All-American in his career. He's a Big Ten champion in the 5,000-meter indoor run (2015, 13:58.77) and 3,000-meter outdoor steeplechase (2015, 8:43.30). Ferlic was also chosen as a Capital One Academic All-America second team member last year. Women's Swimming and Diving Senior Ali DeLoof: DeLoof is a captain and is poised for a breakout season. The oldest of three sisters from Grosse Pointe, Mich., on the swimming and diving team, she finished runner-up to U.S. Olym- pian Missy Franklin in the 100-meter backstroke (1:00.10) at the AT&T Winter Nationals Dec. 3-5. She has two event victories this year in the 50-yard freestyle (22.64 seconds) and 100-yard backstroke (52.95 seconds) She is a three-time NCAA honorable mention All-American.
