so I'm going to say something nice. "If anybody in the audience can help me think of something nice, let me know." • Forman, on Brandstatter's youth: "And Jim, I'm not going to tell the story about burping you as a baby, which turns out to be a true story. I was waiting in his mother's living room, and she said, 'I'm going to the market. Our little baby, Jim, is in the bedroom. Will you please take care of him?' "First baby I ever saw in a king-size bed." • Brandstatter, on Forman: "Ladies and gentlemen, Bob Forman. As old and decrepit as he is, he remains one of the best emcees of any event … I didn't mention I also vomited on him." • Harbaugh, on the 1985 Wolverines: "It's been 30 years since the '85 team played, and I truly believe that was one of the best teams in the history of Michigan football. It was an honor to play on that team and so great seeing the fellas here tonight." • Harbaugh, on Hackett: "I want to thank President Schlissel, and I especially want to thank Jim Hackett. You have no idea how much he's done and how selflessly he has done it, how remarkable the job is that he has done. "I don't know if I have very many friends. I know I've got allies … and most of them are on the barter system, by the way. But not Jim Hackett. Jim Hackett's a friend." • Fifth-year senior fullback Joe Kerridge, congratulating walk-on tight end Michael Jocz on his academic award: "First, congrats Mike, that's a big accomplishment. The marketing presentation we've got tomorrow, I'm going to need some help on, so I'll see you after this." • Senior linebacker Joe Bolden, on Jocz: "I'm not nearly as prepared as Mike. Obviously, he's got a 3.97 for a reason. Mine's not bad, either, okay?" • Fifth-year senior linebacker Desmond Morgan, on hosting Bolden dur- ing his recruiting visit: "The thing Joe forgets about his recruiting visit is, I al- most scared him away. I was actually put in charge of hosting him. I was sitting at dinner with him and his parents, one of the nights of his visit. "His parents were asking about his roommate. He was going to room with Brennen Beyer. I will never forget, his dad looked at me and he goes, 'What kind of guy is Brennen? What should we expect? Joe's a senior in high school, and he's enrolling early.' "With a straight face, I look at him and say, 'Brennen's a great guy. He loves the squirrels on campus. He loves to play with them.' I'll never forget, his dad just kind of looked at me.'" • Forman once more, on the 95th Football Bust: "I wasn't certain whether I was there or not, at my age, so I asked Jim Brandstatter. And Jim said that he didn't remember seeing me." — John Borton
