Dream vacation: "Probably Hawaii."
Favorite sports venue he's been to: "It's got to be The Big House."
Favorite professional athlete: "Tom Brady."
Role model: "I'll say Tim Tebow. I like what he stands for and how he carries
himself on and off the field."
Why he chose football over other sports: "My dad made me. I was going
into seventh grade, I wanted to focus on just playing baseball and my dad was
a football coach, so he said, 'You're playing football.' The next year I decided to
focus just on football and stopped playing baseball."
What he hopes to do after football at Michigan: "I'm not really sure yet. I
have a lot of different dreams that I'm chasing. I need to really find out what
I want to do. Ministry is one possibly, maybe somewhere in politics. We'll just
have to see where it all goes."
His overall U-M experience: "I absolutely love it here. It's everything that I
was looking for and more. I love playing for Coach Harbaugh and Coach Fisch.
I love the guys on the team. They were really welcoming when I came in, more
so than I anticipated. It's been a great experience."
