O'Korn has racked up the most numbers of any Michigan quarterback. But se-
nior All-America tight end Jake Butt insists whoever gets the job will be in sync
with those catching the ball.
"The connection is going to always grow each day," Butt said. "We're just tak-
ing reps with different guys — whoever becomes the starter, he'll just be taking
more reps, whoever is more comfortable.
"I like to run my routes a certain way, they like to put balls different places …
each one throws a little different. I think with each rep we get a little more com-
fortable with each other."

Redshirt junior John O'Korn started 11 games and played in all 13 as a true freshman at
Houston, setting the school's rookie records with 259 completions and 28 touchdowns,
but he lost the job midway through his second year.
