well, and he moves well for a big dude. But let's hope he doesn't have to play in there anywhere. Let's hope he's the guy running scout team next year, giving the first and second teams fits and causing all kinds of disruptions in practice because he's that good." Eventually, Skene noted, let him run the show. But right now, he wants to see someone with a year under the tutelage of Harbaugh and passing game coordinator Jedd Fisch take over. And Skene would love to see a Ru- dock repeat. "Simply use what we saw a year ago as the standard of what we can expect from quarterback play at Michigan — the progression we saw from Rudock," Skene said. "If that's the expectation and let's just say we're going to get the same sort of progression from Mr. O'Korn and all the other quarterbacks that are competing — man, we're going to have some sweet quarterbacks for the next several years, as long as this staff is here. "Clearly, the coaching part of it was there. Now, you've got to give a ton of credit to the student-athlete, and Rudock did a great job of coming in for one year and picking things up and getting so much better so quick. "Can O'Korn do the same thing? There's no guarantee that he will, but it certainly bodes well that he will." ✦ John O'Korn Career Stats, Game By Game If redshirt junior John O'Korn becomes Michigan's starting quarterback, he'd be the second transfer in two years to take the helm for the Wolverines. That begs a closer look at what he did in Houston over the course of two seasons. Here are O'Korn's game-by-game numbers with the Cougars: 2013 Opp. Att. Comp. Pct. Yds.
