  WHERE ARE THEY NOW? 2005 accomplishment grows in her mind each passing year. "We all text each other," she said of her bridesmaids. "It's the same three, and [former teammate] Lorilyn Wil- son and I text each other during the World Series and give our opinions about everything." Each passing Women's College World Series also brings about feel- ings of both deep satisfaction and, well … "I feel so old, and I'm only 31," Clementson said with a laugh. "I'm thinking, oh my gosh, these girls were in second grade when we won. "It's really cool to watch because you realize how tough it was. You're in the moment, doing your best, and then when you actually see what you did … "I look back on it and think, how did I get to Michigan? Then get to the World Series? It's just amazing — an amazing thing to be a part of." Her amazement continued even after she finished her playing career. She secured her kinesiology degree, with an emphasis in physical edu- cation and health, and prepared to teach those disciplines as well. Once she'd prepared herself, the next step came quicker than expected in 2008. "The day after I finished student teaching, there was a job fair at Mich- igan — a teaching job fair," Clement- son recalled. "I walked around and did a mock interview … or I thought it was a mock interview, at the Ches- terfield County booth. "They offered me a job on the spot. So I called my mom, to see if I could move to Virginia, and I got the job here and have been here ever since." Chris Clementson, who recorded the third-best high jump in Uni- versity of Virginia history, took the plunge into marriage with the Toma- hawk Creek teacher three years ago. Then about a year and a half ago, his bride took her specialty to the next level. She began entering bodybuilding competitions, while doing personal training, nutrition coaching and becoming an on-line writing con- tributor for FitnessRX For Women magazine. "I was a big fitness and nutrition Clementson is now a teacher in Virginia, in addition to working as a personal trainer, nutrition coach and fitness writer.
