football recruiting Thoughts On Offer: ���I know Notre Dame has great academics, football program and coaching staff. ��� They have a lot of tradition, too, and I know they put some good receivers on the field. ��� They said I fit their profile not only as a player, but as a person.��� The Skinny: Dupre looked at location early in the process, but as his offer list grew he began taking a different approach ��� Playing for a winning program is important to him and he plans on seeing a number of them before deciding late, including Notre Dame. Trey Quinn 6-1, 192, Lake Charles (La.) Barbe 247Sports Ranking: Ranked as the No.��15 wide receiver in the country and the nation���s No.�� 114 overall recruit. Thoughts On Offer: ���It���s great to have an offer from Notre Dame]��� who wouldn���t be interested? They already have tradition there, but with [head coach] Brian Kelly there, they���re back to where they used to be, playing for national championships and having a bright future.��� The Skinny: LSU and Texas A&M are considered to be the early frontrunners, but he has yet to pare down his list ��� He plans on remaining in contact with the Irish and getting to campus for a visit. Thoughts On Offer: ���I���m definitely very excited and very interested in Notre Dame. There���s a great tradition there, especially with the tight ends.��� The Skinny: Bunting moved the Irish within his top three, which included Oregon and Vanderbilt, following the offer ��� He took a trip to campus last year for the thrilling game against Stanford and is set to return for spring practice April 13 ��� Academics will play a major part in his choice, and he has no set timeline for his recruitment. They���re tight end-rich in tradition, and they compare well to places like Stanford and Utah. It���s Tight End U.��� The Skinny: 247Sports national recruiting analyst Barton Simmons reports that Schultz lists four schools that stand out among his offers ��� Notre Dame, Stanford, Washington and Utah ��� He plans on waiting until National Signing Day to make a college choice after taking his official visits and said academics will weigh heavily on his decision. Offensive Line Alex Bars 6-6, 287, Nashville (Tenn.) Montgomery Bell Academy 247Sports Ranking: Listed as the nation���s No.��19 offensive tackle and the No. 200 overall prospect in the land. Thoughts On Offer: ���I feel very honored to be one of their top five guys at offensive tackle. I���m just really excited about it. ��� They���re obviously a great school. ��� It���s just a great option for me.��� The Skinny: Bars��� father, Joe, was part of Gerry Faust���s first recruiting class at Notre Dame in 1981, and he has two older brothers that play at Michigan and Penn State ��� He���s targeting a flurry of visits, including a spring trip back to Notre Dame, and wants to be done with his recruitment before the start of his senior season.
