As a quarterback, Bell has arm talent and can sling the ball but is far from a pol- ished passer. Shows explosiveness as a runner and can make plays on the move. Had an ultra-productive senior sea- son and is a very intriguing athlete. A three-sport star that also excels at bas- ketball and track (high jumper). 21. DB D'JUAN WALLER YOUNGSTOWN (OHIO) CHANEY On3 Consensus Ranking: Mid three-star EJ's Ranking: Low three-star EJ's Evaluations: Film EJ's Scouting Report: A tall corner- back at 6-foot-3, 195 pounds, Waller has the height and length Michigan of- ten looks for at the cornerback position. Muscular build and plays with plenty of physicality. Flashes at wide receiver as well and shows good speed for his size. Not a very fluid prospect and looks stiff in the hips. May have a tough time playing man. Could transition to safety or even spin down to linebacker de- pending on how his body develops in Ann Arbor. 22. RB BENJAMIN HALL KENNESAW (GA.) NORTH COBB On3 Consensus Ranking: Low three-star EJ's Ranking: Low three-star EJ's Evaluations: Game, Practice, Film EJ's Scouting Report: Built like a tank at 5-foot-11, 235 pounds. Impres- sive upper half with an extremely thick lower half. Has the look of a punishing ball carrier but doesn't live for contact. Shows good burst, balance and vi- sion, and has enough speed to break off a long run. Will need to be willing to run through defenders at the next level and use his build to his advantage. Had a disappointing senior season that saw him move to third on the depth chart behind two other Division I recruits. 23. K ADAM SAMAHA ANN ARBOR HURON On3 Consensus Ranking: Low three-star EJ's Ranking: Low three-star EJ's Evaluations: Film EJ's Scouting Report: It's hard to grade kickers as they are consistently given low three-star rankings. However, Samaha is one of the best in the country at the position. Consistent with short to intermediate field goals and also con- nected on a few of more than 45 yards. Was named a U.S. Army All-Ameri- can. Could slide in as Michigan's starting kicker as a true freshman. A pure kicker that will not double as a punter. ❏ Total Rk.
