East Lake 2015 wide receiver George Campbell committed to Michigan, he certainly didn't give the impression that he was about to become a Wolverine. He committed July 27, just four days after naming Florida his leader. The Michigan pledge came as a surprise to everyone. According to his teammate, fellow U-M commit Mason Cole, Campbell himself may have been taken by surprise. "I didn't know coming in that he was going to commit," Cole said. "I don't think he knew coming in that he was going to commit that weekend, either. We kind of talked him into committing early, because if you know where you're going to go there's no point in waiting. "I was in the room when he committed," Cole added with a chuckle.
