The National Junior Golf Scorecard rated him No. 48 nationally. In an amateur setting, Swanson won the 2012 Montana Junior Ama‑ teur Championship and finished 25th at the Callaway Junior World Cham‑ pionship. The three-time freestyle All-American posted a 71-2 record over his last two seasons at Glenbard North High School in Carol Stream, Ill. Golf: Michigan inked only three recruits, but the small class' size is belied by the great talent within. Reed Hyrnewich is a sharp-shooting lefty from Muskegon, Mich., and he was incredibly accomplished at the high school level. Golfweek.com named him its No. 87 player in the nation. Along with Hyrnewich comes the No. 1 player in the state of Montana, Tom Swanson. He won three straight individual state championships. The third piece
