Dailey shot 80 percent from the field in a July AAU tournament to help start the string of offers. Butler, Penn State, Miami and Illinois have also shown interest, in addition to U-M. "I'm happy with the way I'm play- ing," he said this summer after having what he called his best game in front of Beilein. "I'm shooting really well and getting my teammates involved. "He realizes he needs a little more physical development. A lot of this has come from some high-major schools. "Some much bigger programs that have offered him now have talked to him and mentioned this possibil- ity about going prep for a year then going to a high-major school after he gets another year of getting more strength." Dailey said he might visit Michigan again later in the year for a basketball game, adding he has no favorites and is still "open to everyone." ❏ On The Web For regular reports on basketball recruiting, plus videos of all the top prospects in the nation and Michigan's commitments, visit TheWolverine.com.
