FOOTBALL RECRUITING Semper Fi Bowl. This could be another banner year for the Maize and Blue, but with only a handful of already-committed pros- pects selected to participate, U-M will have to close strong with players that have been named to the various con- tests. UNDER ARMOUR ALL-AMERICA GAME JAN. 2 • ORLANDO, FLA. 12 P.M. EST • ESPN Michigan has just one committed prospect selected to participate in the Under Armour Game — Hartland (Wis.) Arrowhead offensive lineman Ben Bredeson. The 6-4, 280-pounder is listed as a four-star prospect, the top senior in Wisconsin, and the No. 4 offensive guard and No. 65 overall prospect nationally. By the time he heads down to the Sunshine State, though, Bredeson could have another future teammate with him: Pembroke Pines (Fla.) Flanagan linebacker Devin Bush intends to make a college commit- ment in mid-December, with Michi- gan among the finalists. The 5-11, 224-pounder is rated as the No. 6 inside linebacker and No. 184 overall prospect in the country. He will an- nounce his choice between Auburn, Florida State, Georgia and U-M on Dec. 16. Bredeson (and potentially Bush) will have plenty of opportunity to recruit for his future school while practicing for an entire week at ES- PN's Wide World of Sports complex in Orlando, Fla. Some of Michigan's top remaining targets will also par- ticipate in the game. They're led by the nation's top overall player, Paramus (N.J.) Cath- olic defensive tackle Rashan Gary. The 6-5, 290-pound five-star plans to announce his college decision in late January, with Michigan leading the way among his favorite schools. He took two offseason visits to Ann Arbor over the spring and summer, and returned for his official visit to see Michigan dominate BYU Sept. 26. Perhaps the Wolverines' top re- maining target behind Gary is a fellow New Jersey product, Wayne (N.J.) DePaul Catholic running back Kareem Walker. While an up- and-down senior year saw the 6-0, 208-pounder drop slightly in the rankings — going from five- to four- star status, and coming in as the No. 1 tailback and No. 41 overall pros- pect nationally, while maintaining his slot as the second-best Garden Stater behind Gary — he's still a ma- jor priority for the Maize and Blue. With U-M's uneven running back play in 2015, Walker has an oppor- tunity to gain immediate playing time if he picks the Wolverines over Alabama, Arizona State, Auburn and Florida State. Walker intends to enroll early at the school of his choice, so is likely to make an announcement at or before the Under Armour Game. A pair of offensive line targets will also take part in the game, and ei- ther would be a welcome addition to the Maize and Blue fold. Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha Catholic four-star Ter- rance Davis is the top player in Mary-
