FOOTBALL RECRUITING Ohio State. The 6-3, 274-pound Lake- land (Fla.) Lake Gibson standout is the No. 74 senior in Florida, and a former teammate of U-M freshman defensive end Rueben Jones. Nordin is an in-state prospect for the Wolverines, hailing from Rockford High School. The Berkeley Prep three-star is con- sidered the No. 56 senior in Florida. The Offense-Defense All-American Bowl is slated to feature a pair of U-M commits, includ- ing Indianapolis Ben Davis three-star athlete Chris Evans. PHOTO BY BRANDON BROWN SUCCESSFUL SEASON Even if Michigan doesn't reel in many of the uncommitted targets participating in these contests, sim- ply being in the mix for many of them is a welcome change. While U-M has traditionally been well rep- resented in the all-star games, the 2015 class was a change, in that many top targets were no longer consider- ing Michigan. He is eligible for a medical redshirt after an early- season injury this year and a move to defensive back is in the works for his second season on campus. ❏
