football recruiting Thomas Holley 6-4, 285, Brooklyn (N.Y.) Abraham Lincoln 247Sports Ranking: Ranked as the No. 20 defensive tackle nationally. Thoughts On Offer: It was just an amazing feeling getting it. I didnt know what to say. I couldnt really express how I felt, but it was huge. The Skinny: Holley, who attends the alma mater of Irish linebacker Ishaq Williams, began playing football for the first time as a junior Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Florida, Florida State, Miami, Syracuse, Rutgers and Penn State all stand out, and hes targeting an Irish visit in the spring. Anthony Moten 6-4, 279, Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas 247Sports Ranking: Tabbed as the countrys No.23 defensive tackle. Thoughts On Offer: Its crazy. Notre Dame was in the national championship game, and knowing that I could be a part of bringing them back with a good defensive line coach [Mike Elston] is great. The Skinny: Motens teammate, wide receiver Corey Holmes, also has an offer from Notre Dame Moten has expressed interest in getting to campus and even though Florida is the only program he already knows will make the cut this spring, he plans on taking all five of his official visits before deciding next fall. Kentavius Street 6-4, 255, Greenville (N.C.) J.H. Rose 247Sports Ranking: Rated as the No. 17 strongside defensive end in the land. Thoughts On Offer: The offer came out of nowhere, but I was glad to get it from them. I dont know much about Notre Dame yet, but I do know they have great athletes all over the field. The Skinny: Street listed Alabama, Florida State and Georgia as his top three programs He plans on taking summer trips, but has yet to decide if Notre Dame will receive one prior to his late choice. Linebacker Jalyn Holmes 6-5, 225, Norfolk (Va.) Lake Taylor 247Sports Ranking: Listed as the countrys No.3 weakside defensive end and the No. 39 overall recruit nationally. Thoughts On Offer: Notre Dame has tradition. It has a good fan base and I like that a lot. Its a big honor. That name itself carries a lot of weight. Im just blessed to get it. The Skinny: Holmes was initially recruited as an OLB/DE hybrid by Notre Dame, but the program has also mentioned tight end Hes looking to get to campus, but admits that it would likely be an official visit it he did It would mean Notre Dame is strongly in the race because he only wants to have three finalists. Melvin Keihn 6-3, 225, Baltimore Gilman School 247Sports Ranking: Tabbed as the countrys No.21 weakside defensive end. Thoughts On Offer: Theyre a great school academic-wise and football-wise. Im really glad to finally have the offer because now I have a great option where I can go and get a great education and also play football at the top level. The Skinny: Keihn wants to get to South Bend for a visit, but doesnt have any trips planned No schools are leading the pack, but Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Virginia and Virginia Tech are noted as being programs that he really likes. Thoughts On Offer: Its a big offer. They offered me as a corner, which was what I wanted. Other schools havent told me exactly where they want me as. The Skinny: Gibson has yet to schedule trips, but
