He had seven triple-doubles this year.��� Enechionyia���s father is from Nigeria, but the prospect was born in the United States. He wasn���t introduced to basketball until the age of 14, when he traded his love of soccer for an infatuation with hoops. His older brother, Nnamdi Enechionyia, is headed to Samford University in Alabama next year. ���They both migrated to basketball,��� Easton said. ���Obi is a workhorse; he���s always in the gym and always in the weight room. He���s a humble and hardworking kid.��� Enechionyia, who plays for AAU outfit Team Takeover (Nike), said he doesn���t have any favorites at this time and plans to trim his list this summer. As the numbers play out now, Notre Dame has three scholarships to give in 2014, with the emphasis on big men because of senior forward Jack Cooley ending his college career at the conclusion of this season. It wouldn���t be surprising for Brey to use two of those scholarships on big men if he finds the right pair, and to hold a third for a potential transfer. Notre Dame has had plenty of eyes on several other 2014 prospects recently. Brey liked rising Chicago power forward Paul White out of Whitney Young High enough to watch him in action Feb.��19. Solomon has seen White several times.
