basketball recruiting man is trending more toward a pure shooting guard than a combo guard," Bossi wrote. "The No. 30 player in the class of 2015, Coleman said he has offers from Indiana, Purdue, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Illinois, Cincinnati, Arizona, UCLA, Memphis, Providence and Michigan, among others." Coleman later confirmed he'd take a Michigan visit in September. There's been talk that he could be ready to pledge to the Wolverines, which would be a great start to the '15 group. A second offeree, Franklin, Ohio, shooting guard Luke Kennard, has gone a bit quiet about his recruitment, but continues to pick up offers. The latest was another big one, from North Carolina. "Definitely academics," Kennard said when asked what he was looking for in a school. "Definitely a great coaching staff — if they make me feel at home. Definitely the tradition. I want a school that has a great tradition and one that has a good tradition of winning championships." Rivals.com's No. 21 junior nationally has Michigan, Ohio State, Duke, Indiana and many others on his list and offers from most. He recently visited Kentucky and admitted there was a "good chance" he'd end up in a Kentucky uniform. "The visit went great," Kennard said. "My family and my high school coaches took a tour of the campus, and we talked with Coach Cal [John Calipari] for about an hour." The third offeree in the '15 class, point guard Jalen Brunson of Lincolnshire (Ill.) Stevenson (No. 25 talent in the class), is the only point guard to have been offered. He's taking it slowly, though he likes Michigan, the freedom the Wolverines give their point guards and the U‑M coaching staff. He's got a great rapport with head coach John Beilein and the assistants. Brunson might be the best point guard in the 2015 class, according to some recruiting experts. Class Of 2015 Notebook • Michigan is in on a number of highprofile players in the 2015 class, but none are more highly rated than Las Vegas Bishop Gorman's Stephen Zimmerman, who holds offers from UCLA, UNLV, Kansas, UConn, Oregon, Arizona, Kentucky, Louisville and Indiana, just to name a few, and is in line to be the toprated player in his class (currently No. 2). "The 6-foot-11 center from Las Vegas Bishop Gorman can't dominate as a scorer like [No.  1 Malik] Newman can, but the rest of his game is rounding out quickly," Rivals.com reported from Vegas. "He has started to knock down jumpers with confidence and to assert himself as a shot blocker. Zimmerman is an outstanding passer, and he is playing with more physicality each time as he perfects a nicely blended inside/out game. "Zimmerman needs to get stronger, and at times his impact as a scorer isn't quite what it could be." Zimmerman notched nine points and a team-high six rebounds in the USA 2015 Red squad's 60‑56 win over Europe at the early August adidas Nations event
