Spencer Perry went silent.
He didn't want to, but he had to.
The Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Acad-
emy three-star safety visited Notre
Dame for the Irish Invasion June 19,
but he left not wanting to talk to the
media about the trip.
"It's a special place," Perry said in
a text message. "[But] I'm not doing
interviews right now."
There's a reason why Perry didn't
want to elaborate on the Irish. He had
to make a phone call of his own first,
one that he was dreading.
Perry was committed to Florida
when he arrived in South Bend for
the invite-only camp. After spending

after talking things over with his family. He said that his decision was based on the Irish's "combination
of great academics and great football."
