74 ■ THE WOLFPACKER ■ FOOTBALL RECRUITING those plans had yet to come to fruition as of early August. LINEBACKER ELYSEE MBEM-BOSSE Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove High NC State has been on a roller coaster ride in Mbem-Bosse's recruitment. The Pack was originally thought to be a strong con- tender for Mbem-Bosse, especially after he showed up in June for one of NC State's summer camps. Thus it was mildly surprising when, a few weeks after that camp, the 6-2, 225-pouder released a top seven that did not include NC State. However, with some help from NC State freshman defensive tackle and Mbem-Bosse's former teammate Quentez Johnson, the Pack has moved back up with the linebacker. He tweeted in August a top five that in- cluded the Pack with Auburn, Michigan, Southern Cal and Wake Forest. His high school coach, Chris Hill, indicated that Mbem-Bosse could make a decision by September because he will likely graduate early and enroll in the spring. Rivals.com rates Mbem-Bosse as a four- star talent, the No. 15 prospect from Geor- gia's 2016 class, the No. 7 senior inside linebacker in the country and the No. 157 player regardless of position in the nation. As a junior, he had 69 tackles, including two for loss, and posted two fumble recov- eries and a forced fumble.
