WEARIN' O' THE GREEN
Fenway Park is famous for its "Green Monster" wall in left field. Thus, it is fitting that
Notre Dame apparel designer Under Armour took on a green theme for the Shamrock Series
meeting the Fighting Irish will have versus Boston College Nov. 21 at the venerable venue.
Also incorporated into the uniform are blue and gold jersey numbers, plus 11 breaks in the
Notre Dame stripe on the helmet, jersey and pants leg representing each of the team's 11
consensus national championships. The gold helmet features the Notre Dame Leprechaun.
