Now it needs to comple- ment that group by signing another strong crop of cornerbacks this Febru- ary. The Irish coaches got off to a good start, landing a commitment from LaGrange Park (Ill.) Nazareth Acad- emy cornerback Julian Love. Notre Dame will look to add at least one more player to the class. There is the potential that a third cornerback — one with the versatility to play nickel or safety — would be sought in the upcoming haul. Statistics/Honors: Helped lead Nazareth Academy to a 14-0 record and an Illinois 6A state championship … Racked up 1,977 all-purpose yards and 25 total touchdowns … Rushed for 780 yards (11.3 yards per Big Board: Cornerbacks Rivals lists Irish pledge Julian Love of LaGrange Park (Ill.)
