At one point last win-
ter, Notre Dame unoffi-
cially had more than 90
scholarship players on
its roster, well beyond
the NCAA-allotted limit
of 85. Nevertheless, head
coach Brian Kelly knew
it was likely for the
Fighting Irish to experi-
ence the inevitable attri-
tion that happens across
college football every
year, which would have
the team at 85 or less by

was ruled academically ineligible for the 2015 campaign and subsequently transferred to ASA College in
Miami.
